Using the TripShot app
Introduction
To request Night Ride service, please download the TripShot app. When using for the first time, a Setup screen will appear. Enter UIC Ride in the Service Name box and click the Next button. Then click the Log in with UIC SSO button and sign on with your UIC NetID and password.
Please be sure to delete the UIC Ride app from your device as it can no longer be used.

- On the Home screen, click the On Demand tile.
- Then tap the “Where would you like to go?” box, which will take you to a new screen.
- On the Choose Location screen, you will see two ways to input an address:
- Choose on Map, which allows you to move a pin to indicate your dropoff location or
- Enter the address where you would like to be dropped off in the Search box.
- Review your pickup/dropoff location and the pickup/dropoff times
- Click Request Ride to confirm your ride.

Once your request is submitted, you will be able to:
- View your Night Ride vehicle location and estimated time of arrival.
- View details about the vehicle and its driver.
- Cancel the ride if needed.
Your request will be displayed on the app Home screen – just tap to view.
You can also select My Trips to view a list of your Night Rides.
